About Jack D
Jack D Wiggen earned his J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 2002. He completed his legal education in Chapel Hill and entered the professional world of law after graduation. The diploma marks a starting point in a career that has unfolded inside North Carolina’s legal system.
He is admitted to practice in North Carolina and has built his career there. Today he serves as a partner at Wiggen Law Group PLLC. As a partner he shares responsibility for case strategy, client counseling and the day-to-day management of firm matters. The role requires both courtroom preparation and attention to the administrative tasks that keep a small firm functioning.
Colleagues and clients know him as someone who focuses on practical solutions. He prepares pleadings, negotiates settlements, and advises clients on legal options. He also works with other lawyers at the firm to shape case plans and to manage client expectations. His work touches on the procedural and substantive parts of practice — drafting, filing, meeting deadlines, and explaining legal consequences in plain language.
Throughout his career he has remained based in North Carolina. That continuity has allowed him to develop familiarity with local rules and the pace of state practice. He has navigated matters that require close attention to state court procedures and local administrative processes. When a matter calls for coordination among multiple lawyers, he takes part in the planning and execution of those efforts.
Outside of client files he participates in the governance and strategic planning of the firm. Partners at his level often balance their time between direct client work and the longer-term business decisions that shape the firm’s operations. He handles both parts of that balance at Wiggen Law Group PLLC.
He maintains a practice centered on work that arises in North Carolina courts and administrative forums. His current practice focuses on matters arising in North Carolina.
