About Isabelle
Isabelle Hurtubise is a founding partner at Hurtubise Weber Law LLP, a firm dedicated to business immigration law for small and early-stage companies. She earned her Bachelor of Arts with honors from Harvard University in 1995, where she developed a strong foundation in critical thinking and analysis. Following her undergraduate education, Isabelle pursued her Juris Doctor at New York University School of Law, graduating in 2002. Her academic achievements set the stage for a successful legal career. Before entering the legal field, Isabelle worked as a management consultant.
She worked with financial services firms, including American Express and Chase Bank, where she developed her skills in strategic planning and problem-solving. This background in business consulting provided her with a unique perspective on the challenges faced by small companies, particularly in navigating complex immigration issues. After completing her law degree, Isabelle began her legal career in commercial litigation at Bingham McCutchen, now known as Morgan Lewis. She later operated as an independent consultant, further broadening her expertise. Admitted to the State Bar of California in 2003, Isabelle is also a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
Her authorization to practice in all California Federal District Courts enhances her ability to serve clients across various jurisdictions. In 2010, she founded Hurtubise Weber Law LLP to merge a practical business approach with creative legal advocacy. The firm, with offices in San Francisco and San Jose, California, focuses on complex business immigration issues, providing tailored solutions for startups and small businesses. Isabelle's practice encompasses many immigration matters, including H-1B visa applications, E-3 visas, and other employment-based immigration issues. Her clients benefit from her responsiveness and thorough explanations of the immigration process—qualities that have proven invaluable for startups navigating the often daunting landscape of immigration law.
By demystifying the legalities involved, Isabelle empowers her clients to make informed decisions that impact their businesses. In addition to her legal practice, Isabelle is deeply committed to community outreach and education. She actively participates in pro bono initiatives and industry seminars, aiming to promote awareness of immigration policies and their implications for small businesses. This dedication to service, combined with her diverse background and experience, positions Isabelle as a trusted advisor in the field of business immigration law. Her clients appreciate not only her legal acumen but also her genuine commitment to their success.
