About Irwin B.

Irwin B. Levin is the managing partner of Cohen & Malad, LLP, a law firm based in Indianapolis, Indiana. He has been practicing law since 1978, focusing on class actions, mass torts, and commercial litigation. Levin has served as lead counsel in significant cases, including the Indianapolis Ramada Inn/U.S. Air Force crash litigation and the Greenwood air crash disaster. He has also been involved in class actions related to securities fraud, insurance, and consumer protection across the United States.

Levin earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Indiana University in 1974 and his Juris Doctor from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 1978. He was admitted to the Indiana State Bar in 1978 and has been practicing in the state since then. Throughout his career, Levin has been recognized for his contributions to the legal field. He has been selected as an Indiana Super Lawyer from 2004 to 2026 and was named one of the Top 50 Super Lawyers in Indiana for 21 consecutive years.
