About Irene R.

Irene R. Lax entered the legal profession after earning her J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2012. She took the traditional route from law school into practice, building a foundation in courtroom procedure and appellate advocacy during her early years. Her education at Temple provided a base in litigation skills and legal research that she has applied across a range of matters since passing the bar.

She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and New York. She also holds admissions that allow her to appear before the Ninth Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Those credentials mean she can pursue matters at both the trial and appellate levels for clients who require representation across different jurisdictions.

Lax is a member of Grant Eisenhofer P.A., where she contributes to the firm’s litigation efforts. Her work involves drafting pleadings, managing discovery, and preparing motions for court. She has experience handling matters that require coordination between state and federal forums, and she has participated in hearings and briefings before trial judges and appellate panels.

Colleagues describe her as methodical in courtroom preparation. She pays attention to detail in document review and in the marshaling of legal authority. That steadiness is practical in complex cases where procedural posture and precise filings can shape the outcome as much as the underlying facts. She aims to be thorough in presenting her client’s position to judges and opposing counsel alike.

Outside of litigation tasks, Lax spends time on legal research and writing. She has handled appellate memoranda and motions practice that demand concise legal argument and careful citation. Those skills support efforts in both bench trials and appeals, where clarity and structure matter to judicial decision-making.

She maintains active admissions across several states and federal courts, which informs the cross-jurisdictional work she undertakes. She currently practices at Grant Eisenhofer P.A., representing clients in state and federal courts in the jurisdictions where she is admitted.
