About Inge Andrea

Inge Andrea Fordham is an attorney based in Tacoma, Washington, specializing in business law, estate planning, real estate law, and construction law. She earned her Juris Doctor from Seattle University School of Law in 2006, where she developed a strong foundation in various legal principles. Prior to that, she obtained her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Washington in 2002. Fordham is admitted to practice in Washington and is an active member of the Washington State Bar Association, which provides her with access to a network of legal professionals and resources. After completing her education, Fordham began her legal career representing homeowners and condominium associations in complex, multi-party construction defect lawsuits.

This experience, gained from 2006 to 2011, involved handling collection, judicial foreclosure, and quiet title actions for homeowner association clients. Her work during this period provided her with a solid foundation in construction and real estate law, equipping her with the skills necessary to handle the details of property-related disputes. In 2011, Fordham transitioned to an insurance defense firm, where she defended developers, contractors, and subcontractors in construction defect-related disputes across Washington and Oregon. This role allowed her to gain invaluable insight into the insurance industry's approach to property damage claims—an experience that enhanced her ability to navigate disputes from multiple perspectives. Her work in this field further solidified her expertise in construction law and broadened her understanding of the legal field surrounding real estate transactions.

In 2017, Fordham returned to Tacoma, focusing on construction law, real estate transactions, and property-related disputes. She founded Fordham Law, PLLC, in 2018, with the aim of providing personalized legal counsel that emphasizes client goals and long-term relationships. The firm offers a range of services to homeowners, real estate investors, builders, and developers, assisting with issues in both pending and forthcoming transactions. This commitment to client-centered service has established her as a trusted advisor in the community. Fordham is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Washington State Bar Association's Construction Law Section, Real Property, Probate and Trust Section, and Solo and Small Practice Section.

Additionally, she is involved with Washington Women Lawyers and the Tacoma Pierce County Bar Association, which allows her to stay connected with other legal professionals and contribute to the community. Her diverse background and commitment to understanding both sides of a dispute make her a valuable resource for clients seeking effective and cost-efficient legal solutions. Outside of her professional life, Fordham enjoys spending time with her family, attending Husky football games, and wine tasting in Napa. She is also an avid supporter of her local community, frequently attending local events and supporting local businesses.
