About Ilana

Ilana Sharpe began her path to law in Connecticut and finished it in Oklahoma. She graduated from Wesleyan University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts, then enrolled at the University of Oklahoma College of Law and earned her J.D. in 2009. Those years shaped a practical approach to legal work and a clear understanding of how academic training connects to clients’ real problems.

Her career has been anchored in Oklahoma. She joined Robertson & Williams and advanced within the firm to become a partner. Along the way she handled a mixture of transactional and contested matters for local businesses and individual clients. Colleagues describe her as steady in negotiation and methodical in preparation. Clients see someone who explains options plainly and who presses for clear results.

Sharpe’s courtroom presence is measured rather than showy. She tends to prepare cases thoroughly and present them in straightforward terms. That style has informed her work on trials, hearings and mediation sessions. She also spends substantial time advising clients outside the courtroom, drafting agreements, and guiding decision-making in regulatory and commercial settings.

Outside daily casework she maintains ties to the legal community in Oklahoma. She participates in firm leadership and in professional gatherings around the state. Those activities keep her connected to changes in state law and to the network of judges, regulators and fellow attorneys that affect practice in Oklahoma.

Her colleagues at Robertson & Williams credit her with steady management of complex files and an ability to coordinate teams on multi-faceted matters. She mentors junior attorneys at the firm and often takes the point on client communications in high-stakes situations. Even when matters are technical, she aims to make the implications understandable for those she represents.

After more than a decade at the firm, she continues to work from Robertson & Williams’ Oklahoma offices and handles a broad array of issues for clients across the state. She currently concentrates her practice on legal matters arising in Oklahoma from her role as a partner at Robertson & Williams.
