About Ilana S.
Ilana S. Rubel earned her law degree from Harvard Law School in 1997 after completing a Bachelor of Arts at Georgetown University in 1994, where she studied English and American government. Her academic path combined humanities and public affairs. It also set the stage for a legal career that crosses state and federal lines.
Early in her career she joined Fenwick & West LLP, a firm where she spent part of her professional life. Her time there placed her in a firm environment known for handling complex legal matters for corporate clients. At Fenwick & West she worked alongside litigation and corporate teams, gaining exposure to disputes and transactional matters that required admissions in multiple courts.
Rubel holds admissions across a number of jurisdictions. She is admitted to practice before the Ninth Circuit and the Third Circuit. She also holds admissions in California, Washington, Illinois and Idaho, and is admitted to the bar of the U.S. Supreme Court.
