About Igor

Igor Raykin built an uncommon academic path before settling into law. He earned a law degree from the University of Denver Law School in 1997. He later returned to the classroom as a graduate student and completed a master’s degree in philosophy at the University of Colorado Denver in 2010. Raykin also studied journalism and political science at Metropolitan State College of Denver, where he completed his undergraduate work.

His early professional life crossed education and youth services. In 2003 he taught at the Lookout Mountain Youth Services Center, working in an environment that combined instruction and rehabilitation. By 2009 he had moved into school administration and served as a dean within Denver Public Schools. Those years in education gave him day-to-day experience with policy, discipline, and institutional processes.

Raykin entered private practice and in 2012 became a partner at Kishinevsky & Raykin. He has been part of that firm for more than a decade. His legal activity is anchored in Colorado, where he is a member of the state bar community and participates in several professional organizations. He joined the Colorado Bar Association in 2011 and maintains current memberships with the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association and the Colorado Bar Association Public and Legal Services.

Colleagues describe him as methodical and steady in court and in client meetings. He has balanced courtroom work with engagements that touch on public interest and legal aid, reflected in his membership in public and legal services programs. His background in journalism and philosophy informs how he frames questions, evaluates testimony and constructs arguments. The mix of classroom, administration and litigation roles gives him a practical vantage point on cases that intersect institutions and individual rights.

Raykin’s practice sits at the intersection of advocacy and public service. He handles matters out of Kishinevsky & Raykin, Lawyers at Law, and remains active in state bar activities. He continues to participate in trial lawyer and public service forums while representing clients across Colorado. He currently practices at Kishinevsky & Raykin, where his work focuses on trial work and public legal services in Colorado.
