Ian Roven took a steady path into law. He grew up in California and stayed close to home for his education, earning a B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2011 before completing his J.D. at California Western School of Law in 2016. His academic years set the groundwork for a practical practice informed by local courts and the regulatory landscape of the state.
After law school, Roven began building a legal practice in Southern California. He moved into the everyday work of counseling clients, preparing filings and appearing in court when necessary. Early work often meant juggling a wide range of matters. Those first years were about learning how to translate legal theory into solutions that fit individual client circumstances.
