About Ian

Ian Rochstein studied Spanish and international relations at Johns Hopkins before turning to law. He earned a B.A. in 2008 after four years of undergraduate study. He then attended Boston University School of Law, receiving his J.D. in 2013. That combination of language study and legal training has shaped the practical path he took into practice.

After law school Rochstein entered private practice and built experience in immigration matters. By 2017 he was working as a senior associate at Hernandez & Associates, PC, where he handled client intake, case preparation and representation in administrative proceedings. Those years in a firm setting exposed him to a broad range of immigration files and day-to-day courtroom and agency work.

Rochstein is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, New York and Colorado. He holds longstanding ties to the local immigration bar and has been a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association Colorado Chapter since 2014. That participation keeps him connected to changes in federal policy and to the professional conversations that affect routine case handling.

His academic background in Spanish and international relations informs the way he approaches cross-border questions and client communications. He is comfortable reading legal and policy materials that touch on international law and has handled matters that require coordination across jurisdictions. Colleagues describe him as methodical in assembling documentation and pragmatic in preparing cases for hearings or administrative review.

Today Rochstein works from Immigrating To America LLC. His practice has continued to center on immigration law and related administrative processes. He represents individuals and families on visa petitions, residency questions and naturalization matters, and he advises clients on procedural steps before federal agencies. He balances litigation-oriented tasks with the everyday paperwork that drives immigration outcomes.

Clients and peers encounter a lawyer who combines a traditional law school trajectory with an earlier international studies background. That mix results in a practice that treats legal questions as both technical and human. He currently practices immigration law at Immigrating To America LLC, handling client matters across Massachusetts, New York and Colorado.
