About Hyun J.

Hyun J. Lee built her legal foundation at Rutgers University–Newark, where she earned a B.A. in criminal justice in 2005, and at Vermont Law School, where she received her J.D. in 2010. Those years shaped her understanding of law and public institutions. They also established the academic underpinnings she brings to each matter now.

She is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York. Lee holds membership in the New Jersey State Bar Association and participates in the professional life of the state bar. Her dual-state admissions allow her to handle matters that arise on both sides of the Hudson and to advise clients whose issues cross state lines.

Lee is an attorney at Maleski, Eisenhut & Zielinski, LLC. At the firm she advises clients on a range of legal issues and appears before tribunals in the jurisdictions where she is licensed. Colleagues describe her as pragmatic. She favors clear counsel and direct communication, aiming to make complex statutes and procedures easier for clients to follow.

Her undergraduate focus in criminal justice informs how she frames disputes and assesses risk, though her work at the firm encompasses a variety of legal questions. She draws on classroom training and practical skills developed in practice to prepare filings, conduct research, and manage case logistics. Outside the office she maintains ties to the legal community through bar activities and professional gatherings.

She practices from the Maleski, Eisenhut & Zielinski, LLC office and handles matters arising in both New Jersey and New York. Her current practice focuses on providing legal counsel and representation for clients with matters in New Jersey and New York.
