About Holly Marie

Holly Marie Hammons built a practice out of two different worlds: public service and the energy industry. She moves easily between courtroom procedure and contract language. That dual background shapes how she approaches cases and client work.

She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2010. While in Tulsa she also completed a certification in legal research. The training in research and writing remains a steady part of her work, and it informs her attention to statutory detail and contract terms.

Hammons began her legal career in the public sector. In 2011 she served as an Assistant District Lawyer for the District Lawyer’s Council. That early work put her in front of judges and taught her to manage a demanding docket. It also exposed her to the procedural rhythms of court practice and the practical realities that govern dispute resolution at the district level.

By 2014 she had moved into the energy field, joining DCP Midstream as Manager of Gas Contracts. In that role she handled commercial agreements and the administrative aspects of gas purchasing and sales. The job required long-term contract oversight and coordination across operational teams. It also meant translating technical gas industry concepts into clear contractual terms.

Those experiences set the stage for private practice. Hammons operates Hammons Law, where she draws on both her district law experience and her years handling gas contracts. Clients find an attorney who understands statutory work and commercial documents. Her practice blends litigation preparedness with attention to transactional detail.

Outside of casework she has maintained connections to academic training through continuing legal education and the legal research certification she earned at the University of Tulsa. That background supports how she evaluates precedent and structures legal arguments.

Hammons is licensed to practice in both Texas and Oklahoma. She continues to handle matters that benefit from her prior public-sector work and her industry contract experience. Her current practice focuses on issues arising from gas contracts and district-level legal matters.
