About Holly Lynn

Holly Lynn Deihl built a legal foundation in Pennsylvania. She earned a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Pennsylvania State University at Altoona. She went on to receive her J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law. Those early years set the tone for a career that has crossed state lines.

Her first post-law school position was as a law clerk to the Honorable Judge Gregory Olson in 2004. That courtroom exposure came early. It gave her a front-row view of case management and judicial decision-making. The next year she joined Goldberg, Persky & White, P.C., where she worked as a lawyer beginning in 2005. She spent significant time there building practical skills and handling client matters under the supervision of experienced trial attorneys.

After more than a decade in private practice she helped form Kapusta, Deihl & Schweers, LLC, joining as a lawyer in 2018. That move reflected a shift toward greater responsibility. At Kapusta, Deihl & Schweers she worked on higher-stakes files and participated in firm-level planning. In 2021 she became a partner at SWMW Law. The promotion consolidated years of courtroom work and client representation into an ownership role at a multi-attorney firm.

Deihl is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, Illinois, West Virginia and Missouri. Those multi-state admissions allow her to represent clients across several jurisdictions. She has experience coordinating filings, counsel communications and procedural matters across state lines. Colleagues describe her as steady in court and attentive to procedural detail.

Her career path shows steady progression: law clerk, associate, founding firm lawyer, then partner. Each step added responsibilities. She moved from observing judicial processes to managing complex matters and helping steer firm strategy. That trajectory has also meant mentoring junior lawyers, overseeing case teams and taking part in firm administration.

Outside of courtrooms and firm offices, she has maintained professional ties to bar and legal communities. She has continued to practice through shifts in the legal market and in ways that reflect the practical demands of multi-jurisdictional representation. Her current practice focuses on serving clients across the jurisdictions in which she is licensed.
