About Holly C
Holly C Frey is an attorney admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She is a member of the team at Karpf, Karpf & Cerutti, P.C., where she draws on experience in appellate work and litigation.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies from Peirce College in 2010 and completed her Juris Doctor at Widener University Delaware School of Law in 2015. Those years in the classroom framed her approach to legal writing and reasoning. They also prepared her for the practical work of courts and clerks' offices.
Her early professional years were spent inside appellate institutions. In 2015 she served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Justice Lee A. Solomon of the Supreme Court of New Jersey. The role involved research, draft opinions, and close collaboration with chambers on complex questions of state law. The following year she worked as a staff lawyer for the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. That post exposed her to federal appellate procedure and multi-jurisdictional matters.
After those posts, she moved into private practice. Her appellate background informs how she structures arguments and prepares briefs. She handles motion practice, brief drafting, and the procedural work that accompanies appeals. Colleagues say she favors clear, concise legal writing and an approach that aims to identify the dispositive issues early in a case.
Outside the courtroom she maintains professional memberships and participates in bar-related activities in both states. She keeps an eye on evolving case law and on procedural developments that affect appellate and complex civil litigation. She currently practices at Karpf, Karpf & Cerutti, P.C., concentrating on appeals and civil litigation.
