About Heather W.
Heather W. Harrington built her path through Massachusetts education and into a Boston law practice. She earned a B.A. from Stonehill College in 1997 and a J.D. from Boston College Law School in 2003. Those years established the legal foundation she uses in practice today.
After law school, Harrington entered private practice in the state where she grew her career. Over time she moved into roles that combined substantive legal work with client counseling and transactional support. She is admitted to the Massachusetts bar and has practiced in that jurisdiction throughout her career.
Harrington serves as Special Counsel at Cooley Godward Kronish LLP. In that capacity she contributes to the firm’s work on matters that require careful legal research, drafting and strategic advice. Her title places her in a position to handle complex assignments while supporting lead counsel and interacting directly with clients when needed.
Her academic background shaped the way she approaches legal problems. Stonehill College provided a liberal arts base. Boston College Law School supplied doctrinal training and practical skills. The combination of those experiences is evident in how she frames issues and prepares written work. Colleagues describe her work as thorough and methodical, and she applies that approach across the matters she handles.
Outside of case file work, Harrington has been involved in the day-to-day demands of a law firm environment: coordinating with teams, managing timelines, and responding to changing client priorities. Those operational tasks are a regular part of her role and inform how she advises clients and supports transactions.
Clients and team members who work with Harrington encounter an attorney who navigates detail-oriented legal work steadily and without theatrics. She keeps projects on schedule and focuses on practical solutions. Her practice is based in Massachusetts and tied to the work of her firm.
Her current practice focuses on matters handled through her role as Special Counsel at Cooley Godward Kronish LLP.
