About Heather M.
Heather M. White earned her J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2015. She came out of law school ready to practice. Those early years shaped a practical approach to problem solving and courtroom work.
After graduating, White built a practice that spans state lines. She is licensed to practice in both Illinois and Colorado. Her professional affiliations include membership in the State Bar of Colorado. She has also belonged to the Colorado Bar Association since 2020 and joined the Colorado Lawyers Committee that same year. Those memberships keep her connected to developments in Colorado law and to a network of local practitioners.
Her day-to-day work involves advising clients, drafting filings and appearing on their behalf when matters reach court. She handles both negotiation and litigation tasks. She aims for clarity in legal advice and steadiness in advocacy. Colleagues describe her as methodical; she prepares thoroughly and keeps clients informed about the options and the likely outcomes.
White practices at Halligan, LLC. At the firm she works alongside other attorneys on matters that require cross-jurisdictional attention. That includes coordinating filings and procedural steps in more than one state when cases demand it. Her membership in state and local bar groups informs how she approaches multi-jurisdictional questions and procedural strategy.
Outside the office she participates in bar association programs and committee work. Those activities give her regular exposure to emerging issues and to colleagues who handle similar problems. She balances casework with that professional involvement, which she sees as part of staying current in practice.
As a licensed attorney in Illinois and Colorado, White brings experience in managing client matters across state lines. She currently practices at Halligan, LLC, where her work focuses on representing clients in matters across Illinois and Colorado.
