About Heather M.

Heather M. Meglino took a deliberate path into the law. She earned her J.D. from Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law, completing the program in 2011 after beginning studies in 2008. Her time in law school placed her in the middle of Florida's legal community as she prepared for practice in state and federal courts.

After law school, Meglino built credentials that allowed her to appear in several jurisdictions. She is admitted to practice in Florida and has courtroom privileges in the federal system, including the Eleventh Circuit and the Federal Circuit. Those admissions have shaped a practice that frequently touches on matters requiring both state and federal experience.

Meglino's professional life has run parallel to steady involvement in bar and professional organizations. She serves as a FAWL representative and maintains active memberships in the American Bar Association. She joined the Central Florida Association for Women Lawyers in 2009 and the Orange County Bar Association in 2011. In more recent years she added associations that connect law to business: membership in the Association of Corporate Counsel began in 2019 and she has been an associate member of Business Brokers of Florida since 2018. These affiliations reflect an attorney who engages with colleagues across legal and business circles.

Her resume shows a mix of courtroom and organizational participation rather than a single public profile or headline case. That background has informed how she approaches client matters: methodically, with attention to procedural detail when federal rules apply and to local practice when state law governs. Colleagues describe her as someone who pays close attention to statutory deadlines and appellate windows, an important trait for work in circuit courts.

Meglino practices from an office affiliated with Spire Law LLC. Her work draws on the combination of bar participation and federal admissions, and she often works on matters that involve overlapping state and federal issues. She remains active in legal associations and continues to represent clients in Florida and in federal courts, including appeals in the Eleventh Circuit and the Federal Circuit.
