About Hayley

Hayley Harrison built her academic foundation in Texas. She earned a B.A. in Political Science from Texas A&M University, College Station in 2014 and completed her J.D. at South Texas College of Law in 2017. Those years shaped her understanding of state institutions and the legal questions that touch public and private sectors.

Her experience includes time at the Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station. That environment exposed her to settings where technical, regulatory and institutional issues intersect. The work there offered practical insight into how law and engineering projects are coordinated at a university-affiliated research center.

After law school she moved into private practice. She now works at the Law Office of Randy Michel, PLLC. In that office she handles client matters arising under Texas law and navigates the procedural and substantive demands those matters present. Colleagues describe her as deliberate in preparation and direct in court and client communications.

Harrison’s training is grounded in the classroom and tested in routine legal work. Her political science background informs the way she frames factual narratives. Her law school training supplied the tools to analyze statutes and manage litigation steps. She approaches problem solving by breaking complex issues into a sequence of tasks and deadlines that clients can follow.

Clients and co-workers often note her attention to deadlines and paperwork. She manages filings and discovery with an eye toward minimizing surprises. That practical attention does not mean she avoids bigger-picture strategy; she participates in planning case approaches and in evaluating settlement options when those become realistic alternatives to contested resolution.

Outside of direct client representation, Harrison remains connected to professional life in Texas. She maintains contacts at academic and research institutions and follows developments that affect institutional clients. She also keeps up with changes to state procedural rules and statutes that commonly figure in the matters she handles.

Her practice is based in Texas and reflects her education and early professional experiences. She currently handles matters arising under Texas law and focuses her practice on serving clients through clear legal work and steady procedural handling of cases.
