About Harry Starbranch
Harry Starbranch Jr began his legal path at Western New England University School of Law. He completed his law studies there and moved into public service soon after. The law school years gave him the foundation he would use through a long career in county government.
His early professional years were spent in the Strafford County Lawyer Office. He served as Assistant Strafford County Lawyer beginning in 1989. That role put him in the day-to-day work of a county law office. He advised county officials, prepared legal documents and appeared in court on matters involving the county.
In 1994 he advanced to the position of Deputy Strafford County Lawyer. The promotion broadened his responsibilities and placed him in a supervisory role on some matters. He continued to handle legal work for the county while taking on more complex files and mentoring junior staff.
Those two decades of public-sector service shaped how he approaches cases. He developed an understanding of how local government operates and how legal strategy fits into administrative decision-making. His time in the county office also exposed him to a wide range of legal issues at the municipal and county level.
After years in the Strafford County Lawyer Office he moved into private practice. He now practices at Starbranch Law. The firm allows him to apply the practical knowledge he gained in public service to client matters in a different setting. Colleagues describe him as steady and thorough in the way he prepares for hearings and meetings.
He maintains at least one current professional membership and remains engaged with local legal circles. Outside of formal titles and roles, his career shows a steady progression from front-line county work to a private practice that draws on those experiences. He currently practices at Starbranch Law and draws on his county government experience in his work.
