About Hannah C.
Hannah C. Soto completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Mississippi, earning a B.A. in English in 2019. She moved on to Loyola University New Orleans College of Law and received her J.D. in 2022. Her time in law school coincided with the early years of the pandemic, a period that reshaped courtroom practice and client work. She finished her formal education ready to begin practice in a changing legal landscape.
After law school, Soto joined Kean Miller LLP as an associate. The role placed her inside a multi-practice firm where new attorneys often rotate through different departments. Early in her tenure she took on research assignments, client memoranda and drafting work that supported more senior colleagues. The day-to-day work required a steady pace, careful attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
Soto is licensed to practice in Texas and lists active membership in the State Bar of Texas. Membership in the bar has allowed her to handle matters that require Texas licensure and to take part in continuing legal education offerings required by the state. She has used those programs to stay current on procedural developments and changes to state rules that affect litigation and transactional practice.
Colleagues describe her contributions as practical and workmanlike. She is often assigned projects that demand thorough legal research and clear written explanation. Those assignments have ranged from brief writing to contract review. In larger matters she has supported client calls and discovery efforts, helping to keep complex projects on track.
Outside of firm assignments, Soto has engaged in professional development typical of early-career lawyers at regional firms. She attends bar events and training sessions and participates in internal firm meetings that map strategy for client matters. That involvement gives her exposure to a variety of practice areas and to senior attorneys who handle trial, appellate and transactional work.
She practices as an associate at Kean Miller LLP, where she handles matters for clients requiring Texas representation and helps senior lawyers prepare substantive legal work on their cases.
