About Halli A.

Halli A. Martin earned her law degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2013 after completing undergraduate studies in communication at the University of Oklahoma in 2005. Her academic path kept her in Oklahoma, where she combined legal training with a background in communication that informs how she explains complex issues to clients and colleagues.

She completed her J.D. program in 2013. Before law school she studied communication, graduating with a B.A. in 2005. Those years shaped her approach to casework. She draws on courtroom procedure and clear writing to build records that judges and opposing counsel can read quickly and respond to directly.

Martin began her professional legal work in 2013 at Martin Jean & Jackson, Lawyers At Law. She has practiced in Oklahoma since that time and handles matters that arise under state law. In the firm she joined as a lawyer, she has taken on client interviews, pretrial preparation, and courtroom appearances as part of regular practice duties.

Her professional affiliations include membership in the American Bar Association, the Payne County Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, and the Oklahoma Association for Justice. These memberships place her in conversation with peers on developments in procedure, evidence, and litigation strategy. Locally, the Payne County Bar provides a forum for day-to-day issues that affect practitioners in the area where she works.

Colleagues describe her work as steady and detail-oriented. She focuses on organizing case files, developing witness statements, and preparing written submissions. That attention to process is evident in the way she manages deadlines and responds to opposing counsel. Clients see it in her written explanations and in the way she prepares them for court events.

Outside the courtroom, she relies on her communication background to translate legal concepts into practical options for clients. She aims to explain trade-offs plainly so people can make informed choices. She keeps litigation calendars current and prioritizes direct, timely updates to those she represents.

She currently practices at Martin Jean & Jackson, Lawyers At Law, representing clients in matters before Oklahoma courts.
