About Guy T

Guy T Conti built his legal foundation at Ave Maria School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor in 2005. While at Ave Maria he was active in Delta Theta Phi and served on the Moot Court Board. Before law school he completed a Bachelor of Science at Pace University in 1988 and was a member of Upsilon Pi Epsilon. Those formative years combined classroom work and competitive advocacy.

He moved into practice immediately after law school. In 2005 he joined Barr, Anhut & Associates, PC as an associate lawyer. That role exposed him to client counseling and courtroom work at a firm level. Three years later he took on a leadership role at ContiLegal, becoming the managing member in 2008 and steering the firm’s operations and case management.

Conti holds admissions across several state and federal jurisdictions. His listings include New Jersey and Michigan, the District of New Jersey, the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan, the Sixth Circuit, the U.S. Supreme Court and the U.S. Tax Court. Those admissions reflect a practice that spans trial courts and appellate venues, and he has handled proceedings that require appearances in multiple forums.

Colleagues describe him as methodical and direct in the handling of legal matters. He has balanced office administration duties with courtroom responsibilities for years. His background on a moot court board early in his career is evident in the way he prepares for hearings and briefs. He keeps a steady docket and tends to favor clear legal analysis over rhetorical flourish.

He leads ContiLegal’s practice as managing member and continues to represent clients in matters brought in state and federal courts where he is admitted. He maintains practices in both New Jersey and Michigan and regularly appears in the federal districts and appellate courts listed above. He currently practices at ContiLegal, handling matters in state and federal courts in New Jersey and Michigan.
