About Grover C Peters

Grover C Peters III built a varied academic foundation before he entered law. He earned a B.A. in Professional Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (1980). He then completed an M.S. in Systems Management at the University of California–Los Angeles (1982) and an M.A. in Healthcare Administration from Baylor University (1988). He later returned to school for a law degree, receiving his J.D. from the University of Nevada–Las Vegas in 2004.

Peters’s path to practice was not linear. Early studies in aeronautics and systems management preceded work in health administration. That blend of technical and administrative training informed his approach to legal problems when he moved into the bar. In 2019 he began practicing under the banner of GCPeters Law, PLLC, which remains his primary office.

He is licensed in multiple states. Oregon, Washington, Texas and New Mexico appear on his list of admitted jurisdictions. In 2020 he secured admission to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Washington. He holds memberships in the Spokane County Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Those affiliations date from 2019 and continue to the present.

Peters’s education and life before law give him an uncommon mix of perspectives. The aeronautical degree and systems management study reflect technical training and process thinking. The healthcare administration graduate study introduced him to regulatory frameworks and organizational issues. At law school he added doctrinal and procedural training. That combination shapes how he evaluates client matters and organizes a case file.

At GCPeters Law, PLLC he has handled matters that draw on his varied background. He represents clients across the states where he is licensed and appears in federal court in Eastern Washington when matters require it. He is comfortable with the administrative side of practice, courtroom work, and the document-heavy tasks common to civil litigation.

Colleagues describe Peters as pragmatic in the office and exacting with filings. He prefers clear goals and a steady pace over headline gestures. He teaches younger lawyers how to break complex problems into manageable parts, using the structured thinking he developed in earlier chapters of his career.

He maintains an active practice at GCPeters Law, PLLC and handles legal matters across his admitted jurisdictions and in federal court where he is admitted.
