About Gregory Matthew

Gregory Matthew Segura earned his law degree from the University of New Mexico in 2012 after completing undergraduate studies there in English and philosophy. Before returning to law school he studied criminal justice at Albuquerque Technical Vocational Institute, finishing an associate degree in 2004. The combination of technical training, liberal arts, and legal education shaped a practical approach to problems and a facility for written analysis.

He began his legal career in New Mexico after finishing law school. Records show association memberships beginning in 2012, aligning with the start of his practice. Over the years he has maintained active ties to the state bar and its member divisions while building a small practice. His professional path has stayed anchored in New Mexico law and community.

Segura has been a member of the New Mexico State Bar Young Lawyers Division since 2012. In 2018 he joined the New Mexico State Bar Real Property, Trusts & Estates Division. Those memberships reflect areas of interest and ongoing professional involvement. He participates in bar activities that bring practitioners together to discuss developments in property and estate law and to share practical guidance.

Earlier study in criminal justice gives him a grounding in procedural and investigative matters. His undergraduate work in English and philosophy contributes to clear legal writing and careful reasoning. Those elements come together in routine client work and in handling documents for real property and estate matters. He approaches factual problems in discrete steps, and he places emphasis on explaining options plainly to clients.

Segura practices through G. M. Segura Law, operating in New Mexico. His day-to-day work includes matters related to real property and trusts and estates, along with general legal assistance that those areas often require. He maintains an active presence in the state bar and continues to handle matters at the firm level. His current practice concentrates on real property and estate matters in New Mexico.
