About Gregory M.
Gregory M. Rada began his professional life in the Air Force. In 2002 he served as a C-17A loadmaster, a role that placed him in operational and logistical settings before he turned to law. He earned an A.A.S. in Aviation Operations from the Community College of the Air Force in 2006, a B.S. in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix in 2007, and a J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2011.
While in law school he gained practical court experience. In 2009 he worked as a judicial intern for the United States District Court and took on a legal internship at a United States law office. Those placements preceded his first positions in private practice and corporate legal work.
Rada entered the legal profession as a healthcare lawyer in 2011 at Reid and Riege, P.C., where he handled matters arising at the intersection of health care and law. Two years later he established After Service LLC and has been the firm’s owner and lawyer since 2013. In 2021 he also served as president of V2Cyber LLC, an executive role that expanded his professional responsibilities into the corporate sector.
His practice credentials include admission to the bar in Colorado and the right to appear before the Federal Circuit and the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. He is an accredited lawyer for the Department of Veterans Affairs and is listed as an admitted practitioner before the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. That combination of military background and accreditation shapes the contours of his legal work.
Rada maintains active ties to several professional and veterans-focused organizations. He holds membership in the Colorado Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association and the Denver Bar Association. He also participates in the National Organization for Veterans Advocates and the Veterans Consortium Pro Bono Program, and volunteers for Colorado Lawyers for Colorado Veterans. Those roles keep him connected to both legal peers and the veteran community.
Clients and colleagues describe a lawyer who draws on military experience, legal training and courtroom internships to handle veterans’ benefits matters and federal appellate work. He manages After Service LLC as his principal office and continues to take pro bono and volunteer assignments tied to veterans’ legal issues. His current practice focuses on veterans’ benefits and federal appeals.
