About Gregory J.

Gregory J. Martucci has spent decades working at the intersection of law and local community life in Illinois. He is a familiar presence at civic meetings, bar events and service club gatherings. The through-line in his career is steady participation in both professional and neighborhood institutions.

He began his formal studies in the mid-1970s, earning an A.A.S. in Legal Technology from William Rainey Harper College in 1975 and a B.A. in Political Science from Elmhurst College in 1977. He later completed a J.D. at The John Marshall Law School in 1983. Those credentials led to admissions that span state and national forums: he is admitted to the Illinois bar, to the Federal Circuit and to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court.

Martucci's name appears on membership lists across a range of local and legal organizations. He has belonged to the Illinois State Bar Association since 1983 and to the Northwest Suburban Bar Association since 1984. He joined the DuPage County Bar Association in 1996 and has been involved in area chambers of commerce and civic clubs for many years. His participation has often included elected or appointed roles rather than passive membership.

Across civic groups, Martucci has taken on administrative duties and occasional leadership posts. He has served as Recorder and Advocate for Knights of Columbus Council #5732 since 2009, and he is a long-standing member of the Roselle Lions Club and the Bloomingdale Chamber of Commerce. In the Roselle Chamber of Commerce & Industry he has served as a director and has previously held the secretary position. His activity with community youth and civic groups stretches back: he served as president of the Elk Grove Village Jaycees during the 1980s and 1990s and later held roles in the Lake Park Choral Parent Association from 2012 to 2015.

Professional and community work have run in parallel. Martucci has participated in Toastmasters and other organizations that emphasize public speaking and local governance. He remains connected to the Junior Chamber International (Jaycees) as a senator. His record shows a mix of bar association involvement and neighborhood-level service rather than a career defined by high-profile litigation or singular public offices.

He maintains a private practice in Illinois, handling trial and appellate matters in state and federal courts.
