About Grant Stephen

Grant Stephen Scheuring graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in English and earned his J.D. from Elon University School of Law in 2010. He practices law in North Carolina and maintains active ties to the state’s legal community.

After law school, Scheuring began working in private practice in North Carolina. He built his experience handling a range of matters that typically come before state courts and administrative bodies. Over time he moved from earlier general assignments into an independent practice model, drawing on the analytical training he received at UNC and the practical legal instruction from Elon.

Scheuring is the principal of Scheuring Law, PLLC. He established the firm to provide direct legal services to individuals and businesses across the state. The firm handles consultations, case preparation and representation in state-level matters. Scheuring runs a compact operation that emphasizes direct contact between attorney and client and clear, practical planning for each matter that comes in the door.

He maintains membership in the North Carolina Bar Association and participates in the association’s educational and networking offerings. That membership keeps him connected to changes in state rules and court procedure. Colleagues describe his approach as straightforward: he explains legal options plainly and sets realistic expectations about timing and cost.

Scheuring’s background in English informs the way he prepares written materials. He focuses on clear writing and careful organization in pleadings and client letters. He prefers to address legal problems by breaking them down into manageable steps, rather than relying on legal abstractions. That style shows up in client intake, where he works to outline priorities and deadlines early in the relationship.

He has practiced continuously in North Carolina since completing law school and maintains an active presence in the state bar community. Today, Scheuring concentrates his work through Scheuring Law, PLLC, assisting clients across North Carolina with state-level legal matters and representation.
