About Grant
Grant Phillips attended Brooklyn Law School before launching his legal career. He completed the rigorous training typical of the school and went on to enter private practice. That period of early experience prepared him for the work of running a small law firm.
In 2003 he founded Grant Phillips Law, PLLC. The decision to open his own firm followed several years working in the legal field. Establishing the firm allowed him to manage cases across state lines and to set the operational tone for how matters would be handled.
Over the years Phillips secured admission to practice in New York, New Jersey and Florida. Maintaining licenses in three jurisdictions has shaped the types of matters he accepts. It also requires regular attention to the differing procedural rules and professional obligations in each state. He has balanced that regulatory work while handling client matters through his firm.
Colleagues describe Phillips as methodical in his preparation and direct in his courtroom and negotiation style. He prefers clear timelines and practical plans. That approach shows in how his office coordinates filings, hearings and client communications across multiple state courts.
Grant Phillips Law, PLLC remains a compact operation. The firm handles a steady caseload and manages matters from initial intake to resolution. Phillips continues to oversee case strategy and client counseling. Running the firm has kept him involved in both the day-to-day practice and the administrative side of legal work.
Phillips’s career spans more than two decades since he founded his firm in 2003. He has navigated changes in practice technology, evolving court procedures and shifting client expectations. He is a member of the bar in New York, New Jersey and Florida and practices actively in those jurisdictions. He maintains his office under the firm name Grant Phillips Law, PLLC.
He currently concentrates his practice on legal matters arising in New York, New Jersey and Florida.
