Grant M. Scheiner is a Houston-based criminal defense attorney and the Managing Attorney of Scheiner DWI & Criminal Defense Lawyers. He has been practicing law in Texas since 1992, focusing on criminal law, DUI & DWI, and juvenile law. After law school, Mr. Scheiner began his legal career as an Assistant County Attorney for the Montgomery County Attorney’s Office in Conroe, Texas. He first-chaired over 40 jury trials and defended cases on appeal, building a reputation for his energy and enthusiasm in the courtroom. In 1995, he founded Scheiner DWI & Criminal Defense Lawyers, focusing on criminal defense, federal criminal defense, sex crime defense, DWI defense, drug crimes, and white-collar crimes.

Mr. Scheiner is Board Certified in Criminal Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He is a Life Member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and a Fellow of the College of the State Bar of Texas. In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Scheiner is a frequent author and lecturer on various criminal law topics, including trial strategies, cross-examination, and the effective use of technology in the courtroom. He has lectured the Houston Psychiatric Society on the Texas Insanity Defense and serves on the annual faculty of the Texas Criminal Trial College in Huntsville.
