About Graig Frank
Graig Frank Zappia began his path to the law in upstate New York. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science and business from Siena College in 1995. He went on to Albany Law School, where he completed his Juris Doctor in 2002 after beginning his studies in 1999.
He entered the legal workforce in the early 2000s. One of his first roles was as an associate at Dolin, Thomas & Solomon in 2001. He later opened his own practice, founding The Zappia Law Office in 2009. That venture led to further moves within private practice, including a stint at The Lecce Law Office in 2010.
In 2011 he joined Tully Rinckey PLLC as a partner. The move placed him in a larger firm environment and in a senior role that combined client work with practice management. As a partner he has taken part in the day-to-day responsibilities of a law firm partner, including supervising staff, managing cases, and helping set office priorities.
Across his career Mr. Zappia has alternated between solo practice and firm settings. That mix gave him exposure to a range of tasks: handling client intake, directing litigation, negotiating with opposing parties, and overseeing administrative functions. He has worked on matters in New York and maintained a practice that required both courtroom work and transactional or advisory efforts when appropriate.
Colleagues describe him as a lawyer who has balanced independent practice with collaborative firm work. His background — an undergraduate degree in political science and business, followed by a law degree and more than a decade in varied practice settings — has shaped an approach that blends legal analysis with attention to practical concerns. He continues to work at Tully Rinckey PLLC in New York. He currently practices at Tully Rinckey PLLC in New York, focusing on delivering legal services to clients through his work at the firm.
