About Graham
Graham Youngs built his legal foundation at Wabash College, earning a Bachelor of Arts in 2011, and then continued his studies at Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law where he received his J.D. His time in law school included involvement in organizations that paved the way for an early interest in both public service and local bar affairs.
After graduation, Youngs entered public service as an IU Robert H. McKinney Law Fellow and served as Deputy Lawyer General in 2014 at the Office of the Indiana Lawyer General. In that capacity he worked alongside career attorneys in a government setting, gaining experience in the procedures and demands of public-sector legal work.
He moved into private practice in 2016 when he joined Steuerwald, Hannon & Witham, LLP as an associate. That role introduced him to the day-to-day responsibilities of firm practice and client representation. Over time his professional path aligned with a local firm that carries his name: Steuerwald, Witham & Youngs, LLP, where he now practices.
Youngs has remained active in bar activities in Indiana. He has been a member of the Indiana State Bar Association since 2014. Locally, he has taken on leadership roles in the Hendricks County Bar Association, serving as vice president from 2019 to 2020 and then as treasurer beginning in 2020. Earlier associations include membership in the Sagamore American Inn of Court from 2015 to 2017 and participation on the Indianapolis Bar Association Law Student Executive Board while in law school from 2012 to 2014. Those roles reflect steady involvement in the professional community and in mentoring networks.
Colleagues describe Youngs as a practical lawyer who transitioned from government practice to private firm life and who has experience handling the procedural and substantive tasks that come with both settings. His background offers clients familiarity with governmental processes as well as the demands of representing individuals and organizations in a private practice environment.
He maintains an active practice in Indiana at Steuerwald, Witham & Youngs, LLP, where he handles client matters arising under state and local law and continues to participate in county and state bar activities.
