About Graham M.
Graham M. Stolle built his academic foundation at the Virginia Military Institute and Regent University School of Law. He completed a bachelor’s degree in International Studies and Political Science at VMI in 2009. He went on to earn his J.D. from Regent University in 2013. Those years of study combined a broad liberal arts background with formal legal training.
While still in law school, Stolle gained hands-on experience in the public sector. In 2011 he served as a legal intern at the Virginia Beach Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office. That placement exposed him to prosecutorial work and the practical demands of courtroom preparation. It also offered early experience with motion practice, witness preparation, and the day-to-day tasks of a government litigation office.
After law school Stolle became authorized to practice in Virginia. His resume shows a path rooted in state-level practice rather than federal admission lists or multi-jurisdictional rosters. The combination of a military college background and a regional law program shaped his early professional network and informed the kinds of matters he encountered as a junior lawyer.
Colleagues describe him as steady and methodical. He approaches casework with attention to procedural detail and an eye for how pretrial choices affect outcomes. Those traits are often useful in state court litigation, where calendar management and evidentiary rulings can change the trajectory of a case. His time with a Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office provided an appreciation for the pacing and priorities of public prosecutors and the standards they must meet in criminal proceedings.
Stolle’s educational choices underscore an interest in both geopolitics and law. A degree in International Studies and Political Science came before a legal education that emphasized doctrine and practice. That sequence of study suggests comfort with complex fact patterns and an inclination to place legal problems in a broader context.
He maintains his practice in Virginia and continues to work in matters that arise in the state’s courts. He currently practices law in Virginia.
