About Graeme S.R.
Graeme S.R. Brown studied finance at the University of Connecticut and graduated with a B.S. in 1981. After spending time in the private sector, he returned to law school and earned his J.D. from New England Law | Boston in 1998. Those two degrees frame a career that crosses corporate, procurement and construction matters.
Early in his legal career Brown worked for eGlobe, Inc. beginning in 1998. He later worked for Mac-Gray Corporation in 2002. Those roles gave him exposure to corporate operations and procurement practices before he moved into private practice. Over time he established The Brown Law Office, LLC, where he has practiced as an attorney.
Brown holds admissions in Massachusetts, the District of Columbia, Colorado and in the U.S. Supreme Court. He maintains active memberships in the Massachusetts State Bar, the Boston Bar Association and the Social Law Library. Those associations reflect his continued engagement with the legal community in Boston and beyond.
He has pursued specialized training in public contracting. Brown earned MCPPO certifications in Design and Construction Contracting, Construction Manager at Risk Contracting, and Public Procurement. Those credentials support work on municipal and public-sector procurement and construction projects. He handles contract review, bid disputes and compliance matters tied to public construction programs.
Clients and colleagues describe Brown as pragmatic in handling procurement and construction issues. His background in finance informs contract analysis and budgeting questions. He approaches disputes and negotiations with attention to contractual detail and statutory procurement rules. He also appears in matters that require counsel familiar with both private-sector purchasing and public procurement regimes.
Brown’s practice spans transactional work and contested matters. He drafts and reviews construction agreements, advises on procurement procedures, and represents clients in disputes arising from public contracts. He keeps current on procurement regulations and construction contracting practices through continuing education and bar association involvement.
He currently practices through The Brown Law Office, LLC, handling construction contracting, public procurement, and related legal matters.
