About Grace E

Grace E Ayers built a foundation in languages and politics before she entered law school. She earned a B.A. from Indiana University–Bloomington in 2001, completing a triple concentration in political science, French and Italian. That combination shaped both her analytical approach and her comfort with international perspectives. She went on to Pepperdine University School of Law and received her J.D. in 2006.

After law school, Ayers moved into legal practice. Early years in practice exposed her to courtroom procedure and client counseling. She handled trial preparation, motions practice and client interviews. Those tasks taught her how to distill complex information into clear choices for clients. Over time she layered transactional work onto that litigation grounding, so she could advise on both disputes and preventive measures.

Her academic background in political science informed an interest in regulatory and policy questions. Her facility with French and Italian also proved useful when cases or matters involved foreign documents or bilingual witnesses. Colleagues describe her as methodical; she tends to approach questions step by step. She spends time reviewing records carefully and mapping out options. That temperament has shaped the types of matters she accepts and the way she prepares cases for adversarial or negotiated resolution.

Outside of casework, Ayers has engaged in continuing legal education and professional development. She keeps current on new rules and precedent so she can apply recent developments to client problems. In conferences and seminars she has discussed practical issues such as evidence gathering and court procedure. Those appearances reflect an effort to refine everyday practice rather than to advance a public profile.

Clients and fellow lawyers encounter an attorney who values clarity and practical planning. She arranges advice around discrete decisions, and seeks to give clients usable steps they can take next. As of 2026 she continues to practice law and directs her work toward advising and representing clients in legal matters.
