About Glynn
Glynn Vrba is a Texas-based criminal defense attorney who has run his own practice since 2014. He brings a mix of trial experience and appellate exposure to his work, and he has spent a decade-plus representing people facing criminal charges in Texas courts.
Vrba began his academic path with a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of North Texas, earned in 2006. He went on to law school at Western Michigan University Cooley Law School, completing his J.D. in 2011. During law school he gained early exposure to criminal law through internships. In 2009 he worked with the Michigan State Appellate Defenders Office, helping to research and prepare appellate materials. In 2011 he served as an intern at the Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office, which provided experience on the prosecution side of criminal cases.
After law school he moved into criminal defense practice. In 2013 he worked as a criminal defense lawyer at JBABB Criminal Defense, where he handled trial preparation and client representation. A year later he launched VRBA Law, PLLC and took on the responsibilities of firm owner. Since founding the firm he has maintained a practice that handles criminal matters across a range of case types.
Vrba holds membership in several local professional groups related to criminal defense, including the Denton County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and the Dallas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. Those memberships keep him engaged with local defense practice and provide opportunities to stay current on developments in Texas criminal law. His background includes both courtroom representation and appellate research, a combination that informs how he approaches cases.
Colleagues describe his approach as practical and case-centered. He prepares for hearings and trials, handles discovery and motions work, and pursues appeals when appropriate. He represents clients at various stages of prosecution, from initial custody matters through trial and post-conviction procedures. He also draws on his early prosecutorial internship to anticipate how the state may present its case.
Vrba operates VRBA Law, PLLC, where he accepts criminal defense matters in Texas courts. He currently practices criminal defense at VRBA Law, PLLC, representing clients in Texas courts.
