About Glenn R.
Glenn R. Kantor earned his B.A. from California State University, Los Angeles in 1980 and completed his J.D. at the University of Southern California Gould School of Law in 1983. Those years set the foundation for a career spent practicing in both state and federal courts. He moved from the classroom to the courtroom at a time when California litigation was becoming ever more complex.
He is a member of the State Bar of California since 1985. Over the years he has secured admissions to a range of federal tribunals: the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the U.S. District Courts for the Central, Eastern and Southern Districts of California. He is also admitted to practice before the California Supreme Court. Those credentials reflect a practice that includes appellate work as well as district-court litigation.
Kantor has spent his legal career at Kantor & Kantor. There, he has been involved in matters that require courtroom presence and appellate briefing. He represents clients in filings, hearings and appeals. His work demands attention to procedure and the ability to translate complex factual records into written and oral arguments.
Colleagues and opposing counsel recognize him for steady courtroom preparation and a methodical approach to case development. He pays attention to deadlines and to the details of federal and state filing requirements. That practical orientation matters in the pace of litigation, where small procedural choices can affect outcomes.
Outside of formal court admissions, his professional life is rooted in the routines of litigation practice: drafting pleadings, taking and defending depositions, preparing witnesses, and arguing motions. He has prepared appellate briefs for the Ninth Circuit and handled matters in the federal district courts named on his admissions list. His practice requires fluency in both trial and appellate procedure.
Today he continues to practice at Kantor & Kantor and remains active before the state and federal courts to which he is admitted. His current practice centers on litigation and appellate work in the courts where he holds admission.
