About Glenn A

Glenn A Stockton built his foundation at Benedictine College, where he graduated in 1995 with a triple major in political science, economics and philosophy. He went on to earn a J.D. from the University of Kansas School of Law in 1999. Those academic years combined study of public institutions, markets and ethical theory — themes that would recur in his legal work.

After law school, Stockton entered private practice and established a practice centered in Kansas. He is admitted to practice in Kansas and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. Over more than two decades he has handled matters in state and federal courts. His courtroom work includes trial practice and appellate brief writing. He has represented clients in contested hearings and in filings before appellate panels.

Colleagues describe Stockton as methodical in his preparation. He tends to break complex problems into discrete parts and address each one in sequence. That approach shows up in litigation — he prepares factual records, frames legal issues and makes concise arguments. He also spends time on written advocacy. Appeals require a different rhythm than trial work, and Stockton has developed routines for drafting appellate briefs and for preparing oral argument.

Stockton opened Stockton Law Office, LLC to provide a base for his practice. The firm handles matters that arise in Kansas courts and in federal proceedings tied to the Tenth Circuit. He works with individual clients and businesses. Files at the office range from contested civil matters to appeals, and he often serves as counsel on cases that move from trial court through the appellate process.

He teaches younger lawyers some practical skills, too. That includes courtroom procedure, brief writing and the mechanics of oral argument. In smaller firms, senior lawyers often carry a variety of responsibilities and Stockton’s day can include client meetings, drafting pleadings, and courtroom appearances. He tends to balance paperwork with courtroom time.

Outside the office Stockton’s background in political science and economics continues to inform how he evaluates cases. He considers both legal risk and practical consequences when advising clients. As of 2026 he practices through Stockton Law Office, LLC, serving clients in Kansas and in appeals before the Tenth Circuit and focusing his work on litigation and appellate matters.
