About Giselle Ayala
Giselle Ayala Mateus earned an LL.M. in Business Law from Brooklyn Law School in 2018. She is admitted to practice in New York. Her graduate study deepened knowledge of corporate structures and transactional work and informed the practical side of her legal career.
Her professional path includes roles in small firm settings and running her own practice. In 2020 she held positions at the Law Office of Richard La Salle and at G.A.M Law Office P.C., where she served as principal lawyer. Those years provided hands-on experience on client intake, case management and the day-to-day operations of a law office.
Mateus has been active in the bar community. Since 2019 she has served as Co-Chair of the Publications Committee for the New York Intellectual Property Law Association. In that role she has overseen committee outputs and worked with colleagues to produce materials for members. She continues to serve on the NYIPLA Publications Committee while maintaining a private practice that centers on business and intellectual property matters in New York.
