About Giovanni A.
Giovanni A. Correa took a conventional path into law that combined economics and courtroom study. He earned a B.A. in Economics from California State University, San Diego State University in 2010 and then went on to receive his J.D. from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2015. Those years gave him the academic foundation to move quickly into private practice.
After law school he entered the San Diego legal community. In 2016 he worked in private practice at Sollertis, where he handled client matters and learned the practical side of running cases and counseling clients. That same year he launched his own firm, founding Correa Law Office, APC. The leap from associate to founder came early in his career.
His practice has been rooted in the demands of California law. He is admitted to practice in California and has managed matters that require attention to state procedures and deadlines. Early litigation experience and day-to-day client work informed how he structures a small firm. He emphasizes clear communication and prompt follow-up, the sorts of practices that help firms handle multiple matters without losing sight of individual client needs.
Colleagues and clients have encountered a lawyer who combines courtroom preparation with the administrative tasks that come with running a practice. He spent his first professional year balancing client meetings, motion drafting and the practical logistics of establishing a new office. That period shaped how he approaches case strategy and client intake. It also influenced the systems he uses to track deadlines and filings.
Correa’s background in economics still informs his approach. He tends to view disputes and transactions through a cost-benefit lens, assessing likely outcomes and potential exposures. That pragmatic perspective helps when advising clients on whether to pursue litigation, seek settlement, or explore alternative dispute resolution. It also plays a role when he prepares budgets and timelines for each matter the office handles.
Today he heads Correa Law Office, APC, where he represents clients in matters under California law and manages the firm’s operations. He maintains an active practice in the state and continues to serve clients from his firm’s office, providing legal counsel and case management across matters handled by his office.
