About Gideon J.
Gideon J. Miller built his academic foundation at the University of Maryland, College Park, where he studied English Language & Literature and Government & Politics. He went on to earn his J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. His course of study paired humanities and politics with law, an education that informs his approach at the bar.
Miller began his professional legal work in 2018 at Gang & Associates, LLC. He handled client matters there as a lawyer, learning courtroom routines and the practical demands of casework. The role provided early exposure to the daily tasks of litigation and client counseling.
He later joined Hermann Law Group, PLLC as an associate. At Hermann he continued to expand his experience in firm practice, collaborating on cases and contributing to legal research and drafting. Colleagues describe him as methodical. He balances detailed preparation with responsiveness to clients and partners.
Miller is admitted to practice in both New York and Massachusetts. He holds current memberships in the New York State Bar and the Massachusetts State Bar. That dual admission allows him to take on matters that cross state lines and to advise clients who encounter legal issues in either jurisdiction.
Across his positions he has worked on matters that required careful statutory reading and attention to procedural rules. He draws on his background in English and government when preparing briefs and when framing arguments. His training at Cardozo supplied a range of doctrinal courses and practical skills instruction, which he has applied to the practice settings he has occupied.
Outside the courtroom, Miller’s earlier liberal arts study appears in his written work. He tends to favor clarity and structure in drafting. The variety of his educational background and the different practice environments he has entered give him a broad view of the law’s practical side.
He continues to practice law in New York and Massachusetts, maintaining professional memberships in both states and working from positions at Hermann Law Group and previously at Gang & Associates. He currently practices law in matters arising in New York and Massachusetts.
