About Gerard William

Gerard William Traynor built his path to law from degrees in business and law. He completed a Bachelor of Business Administration at Temple University in 1989, concentrating in finance and marketing. He later enrolled at Rutgers School of Law–Camden in the mid-1990s and earned his J.D. in 2001.

After law school, Traynor established his practice in New Jersey and has maintained his professional life in the state since. He is licensed to practice in New Jersey and has represented clients across a range of matters that arise in state courts and administrative settings. Early in his career he navigated transactional work and courtroom matters, balancing negotiations with litigation when the situation required it.

Traynor’s background in finance and marketing informs how he evaluates cases and counsels clients. That undergraduate training gives him a practical lens for assessing economic issues and strategic choices. He has applied that perspective to client counseling, document review, and dispute resolution. In practice, he combines legal analysis with an attention to the business and financial realities behind a matter.

He maintains current professional memberships and participates in the local legal community. Those affiliations have given him opportunities to stay current on changes in state law and procedure. Over the years he has developed a network of peers and resources he calls on when a case presents specialized factual or technical questions.

Traynor maintains an office at 1409 Long Beach Blvd, where he meets with clients and handles day-to-day practice operations. His office work ranges from client intake and counseling to drafting pleadings and managing case timelines. He prefers a straightforward approach: identify the legal issues, outline practical options, and pursue the route that best serves the client’s goals.

Colleagues describe him as steady and pragmatic; clients have stayed with his practice through multi-stage matters. He balances attention to detail with an eye toward resolving issues efficiently. He continues to work in New Jersey courts and administrative forums, representing individuals and businesses on matters arising under state law. His current practice focuses on serving clients in New Jersey.
