Gerald Emmett Brunn is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1982. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Brunn is a senior partner at Brunn & Flynn Attorneys, a law firm located at 928 12th Street, Suite 200, Modesto, California. Mr. Brunn earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 1982. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at the University of San Francisco, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1979. During his time at the University of San Francisco, he was awarded a four-year scholarship by the United States Army Reserve Officers' Training Corps. He is a lifetime member of the Jesuit Honor Society, Alpha Sigma Nu, and the National Society of Scabbard and Blade.

Throughout his career, Mr. Brunn has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of Stanislaus, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to founding his own firm, he served as a Special Master for the State Bar of California and as an adjunct professor at Chapman University and Modesto Junior College, teaching courses in Business Law, Employment and Labor Law, Constitutional Law, Legal History, and Political Science.

Mr. Brunn is an active member of the California State Bar Association and the Stanislaus County Bar Association. He holds membership in the American Bar Association Section of Litigation. He is also a certified mediator through the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University School of Law and serves on the Mediation and Arbitration Panels of Superior Courts throughout Northern California. Mr. Brunn is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing him to serve the diverse communities of the Central Valley effectively.
