About George

George Zeckler followed an uncommon academic path before entering the legal arena. He earned his J.D. from Florida International University College of Law after completing a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology at The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. Prior degrees include a Master of Health Administration from Baylor University, an M.A. in Management and Leadership from Webster University, and a B.A. in Psychology from Florida Southern College. The combination of law, health sciences and management informs much of his outlook.

His training bridges clinical settings and legal practice. The psychology and health administration degrees give him a working familiarity with hospital operations, clinical decision-making and organizational leadership. The law degree provided the tools to address disputes, regulatory questions and transactional matters that arise in health care and related fields. Those strands of education meet in work that requires translating clinical realities into legal strategy and policy advice.

Colleagues describe his approach as methodical. He habitually examines statutes, regulations and policies side by side with clinical protocols. That habit reduces surprises when issues cut across medical practice and legal compliance. He has handled matters involving regulatory interpretation, institutional policy, and questions that touch on patient privacy and clinical governance. Contract review, administrative proceedings and internal compliance reviews also form part of the work he undertakes. His management and leadership studies inform negotiations and internal processes. The result is a practice style that pays attention to both technical legal rules and the operational pressures of health-care providers.

In Florida, he practices law and accepts matters that require an intersectional view of medicine and the law. He represents parties in contexts where clinical judgment, administrative rules and organizational interests intersect. His background in clinical psychology also equips him to engage on issues involving behavioral health and related regulatory frameworks. He advises clients on compliance, institutional policy, and the legal aspects of clinical operations. He currently practices in Florida, focusing on matters at the intersection of health care, mental health, and law.
