About George E.
Born in Bellevue, Washington, George grew up in Woodinville, where he was actively involved in various school activities and sports. His early experiences in the community shaped his commitment to service and advocacy. In 1993, he graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor’s degree, before his future legal career. He then pursued his Juris Doctor at Gonzaga University School of Law, graduating in 1997. During his time in law school, George served as an Associate Editor for the Law Review and chaired the William O. Douglass Committee, gaining inexperience in legal writing and leadership.
After completing his law degree, George chose to remain in Eastern Washington, joining a prominent law firm in Kennewick. His focus quickly shifted to trial work, particularly in personal injury cases, where he found a focus on advocating on behalf of injured clients. By 2001, he became a partner in the firm, expanding his practice to include medical malpractice cases, thereby broadening his expertise and service offerings. In 2007, he co-founded Telaré Law with his wife, Andrea Telquist, aiming to create a firm that would better serve the community's legal needs. Under George's leadership, Telaré Law has achieved remarkable success, recovering over $100 million for more than 1,000 clients across Southeast Washington. The firm specializes in complex personal injury cases, including those involving car, truck, and motorcycle accidents, as well as wrongful death claims.
This experience has solidified George's reputation as a skilled advocate in the field of personal injury law. George's dedication to his clients and the community is reflected in his numerous accolades. In 2005, he was named a "Rising Star" by Washington Law & Politics Magazine, highlighting his potential and impact in the legal community. In 2014, he received the Gene Schuster Award for Outstanding Service from the Benton-Franklin Legal Aid Society, recognizing his commitment to providing legal assistance to those in need. Additionally, he is recognized by The National Trial Lawyers as one of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers, evidence of his skills and achievements in the courtroom. An active member of the Washington State Bar Association and the Benton-Franklin Counties Bar Association, George is admitted to practice in all Washington State courts, including the Supreme Court and Court of Appeals.
His credentials extend to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Washington, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court. This extensive licensure allows him to represent clients at various levels of the judicial system, ensuring they receive comprehensive legal support.
