Gay Ellen Gilson is the founder and sole practitioner at the Law Office of Gay E. Gilson, located at 5525 S. Staples Street, Suite B3, Corpus Christi, Texas. She has been licensed to practice law in Texas since 1992. Ms.
Gilson earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Baylor University in 1988. She then obtained her Juris Doctor from St. Mary's University in San Antonio in 1992. Her practice focuses on employment and constitutional law, handling cases such as discrimination, sexual harassment, whistleblower claims, and wage disputes. She represents clients before federal and state courts, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
The Merit System Protection Board. Ms. Gilson is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas Labor and Employment Law Section, the National Employment Lawyers Association, and the Texas Employment Lawyers Association. In 1994, she was honored as the Outstanding Young Lawyer of the Year by the Corpus Christi Young Lawyers Association.
