About Gale H.
Gale H. Moore has spent her career practicing family law in Florida. She earned her J.D. from Stetson University College of Law in 1993 after completing her legal studies in the early 1990s. Her education laid a practical foundation. Classroom work and clinic experience shaped the early contours of a courtroom-ready practice.
After law school she entered private practice and by 1998 was a shareholder at the Law Office of Gale Moore, P.A. That role put her at the center of client matters in Pinellas County and across Florida. She has handled contested divorces, child custody disputes, and post-judgment modifications, often representing clients through trial and settlement negotiations. Her practice has included both traditional litigation and collaborative processes, reflecting changes in how many families resolve disputes.
Moore is admitted to practice in Florida and before the U.S. Supreme Court. She earned Board Certification in Marital and Family Law from The Florida Bar, a credential that recognizes experience and knowledge in that field. The certification signals years of concentrated practice in family law and a sustained calendar of family-law matters.
Her engagement with the local bar and professional groups runs alongside her courtroom work. She served as Co-Chair of the Collaborative Law Section of the Clearwater Bar Association from 2016 to 2018. Later, she took on an organizational leadership role as Executive Director of the Canakaris Family Law Inn of Court from 2018 to 2020. Those positions involved mentoring younger lawyers, organizing educational programming, and encouraging procedural alternatives to contested litigation.
Colleagues describe Moore as pragmatic. She prepares cases thoroughly and presents options plainly to clients. She balances negotiation strategy against the realities of trial. Over the course of her career she has transitioned between contested litigation and more cooperative models depending on client needs. She continues to accept family-law matters through her firm, where she handles divorce, custody, support, and related family-law issues in Florida. Her current practice focuses on family law, including the resolution of custody, support and asset division matters.
