About Gabrielle E.
Gabrielle E. Espy earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Washington & Lee University in 2013 after undergraduate study from 2009 to 2013. She went on to attend the University of Georgia School of Law, receiving her Juris Doctor in 2016. Those years framed her early legal training and set the stage for work in both state and federal forums.
After law school, Espy entered private practice and developed experience in litigation and appellate matters. She is admitted to practice in Georgia and before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. That combination of admissions has allowed her to handle litigation that begins in state court and proceeds to federal appellate review.
Colleagues describe Espy as a careful writer and a precise oral advocate. She has worked on briefs and motions that require close attention to procedural detail and statutory interpretation. Her work has often involved coordinating factual records for appeals and crafting arguments that map legal issues for judges at different levels of the court system.
Espy’s law school training included courses that emphasized litigation skills and appellate practice. Those classroom experiences translated into courtroom work after she joined Hudson Lambert Parrot, LLC. At the firm she has taken part in trials, motions practice and appellate filings. Her approach tends to be methodical: assess the record, identify clear legal points, then present them concisely in writing and at oral argument.
Outside the courtroom she maintains connections to peers and stays current on developments in Georgia and Eleventh Circuit law. She reads recent opinions and follows procedural changes that affect how appeals are litigated. This attention to detail helps when deadlines are tight and when a case must be advanced from trial court to appellate court.
Espy remains based at Hudson Lambert Parrot, LLC. Her practice involves representing clients in matters that originate in Georgia state courts and in appeals before the Eleventh Circuit. She currently concentrates on litigation and appellate work at Hudson Lambert Parrot, LLC.
