About Gabriel
Gabriel Pimentel earned his law degree from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, in 2009. He completed his undergraduate studies in business at the University of Phoenix in 2006. Those years in law school included practical placements that helped shape his early legal interests.
While still a student, he took on clerkships and an externship that gave him exposure to both advocacy and the courtroom. In 2007 he worked as a law clerk for Neighborhood Legal Services of Los Angeles County. The following year he held a law clerk position at Public Counsel and served as an extern to Judge Dean D. Pregerson of the U.S. District Court. Those experiences placed him in both public-interest and federal court settings during formative stages of his career.
After earning his J.D., Pimentel joined Younessi Law in 2009 as an attorney. He spent the early post-law school years building courtroom experience and handling client matters at that firm. In 2015 he started his own practice, founding Pimentel Law and taking on the role of principal lawyer. Building a solo practice required shifting from the structures of larger firms to running a firm and managing client intake, case strategy, and the everyday demands of legal practice.
Pimentel is admitted to practice in California. He has been active in local professional circles. Since 2015 he has been a member of the Consumer Lawyers Association of Los Angeles and the Labor and Employment Law Section of the State Bar of California. Those memberships reflect the kinds of matters he has frequently handled in his practice and the professional networks he maintains.
His approach to cases is straightforward. He combines courtroom experience from early clerkships and his time at Younessi Law with the practical demands of running a small firm. That mix informs how he prepares cases and advises clients. Pimentel works from his firm, Pimentel Law, where he manages client matters and day-to-day operations. He handles labor and employment and consumer matters in his current practice.
