About Gabriel

Gabriel V. Kory is a founding partner at Miller Kory Rowe LLP, a law firm that specializes in personal injury, medical malpractice, and nursing home abuse cases. Licensed to practice law in Arizona since 2003, he has dedicated his career to advocating for victims of abuse and neglect. The firm operates from two locations: 650 North 3rd Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85003, and 2135 East Grant Road, Suite 100, Tucson, AZ 85719. Gabriel's commitment to justice is evident in his leadership role within the firm, particularly as head of the elder abuse and neglect litigation group.

Raised in Nogales, Arizona, Gabriel's educational background is robust — He earned both his undergraduate degree and Juris Doctorate from Arizona State University. His pursuit of knowledge did not stop there; he furthered his education by studying International Commercial Trade Law at EGADE, Tec de Monterrey in Monterrey, Mexico. Additionally, he obtained a minor in Spanish from Estudio Internacional Sampere in Madrid, Spain. This diverse educational experience gave him a unique perspective on legal issues, particularly those affecting the elderly and vulnerable populations. Initially, Gabriel's legal career focused on defending institutional healthcare providers, including hospitals and nursing homes.

However, over the past 14 years, he has shifted his focus entirely to representing victims and their families in cases of abuse and neglect. His transition from defense to advocacy has allowed him to successfully prosecute numerous cases across Arizona, earning him a reputation as a dedicated and effective attorney in elder law. In addition to his legal practice, Gabriel serves as an Assistant Professor of Practice at The University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix. There, he lectures medical students on the critical issues surrounding elder abuse and neglect, bridging the gap between legal and medical education. His involvement in academia supports his raising awareness and educating future professionals about the details of elder care.

Beyond his professional obligations, Gabriel is actively engaged in community service. He is a board member of the Military Assistance Mission, which provides financial and emotional support to Arizona's active-duty military members and their families. His affiliations with various organizations, including the Arizona Association for Justice and the American Association for Justice, further demonstrate his dedication to the legal profession and the rights of vulnerable populations. Outside of work, Gabriel enjoys backcountry skiing, running, backpacking, camping, and hiking. His dog serves as the office mascot, accompanying him daily and adding a personal touch to his professional life.
