Gabriel Jiménez is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1997. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Jiménez is the founder and principal attorney at Gabriel Jiménez Law Office, a firm specializing in immigration law, located at 1790 N Lee Trevino Dr, Suite 315, El Paso, Texas. He has been practicing law for over 25 years, serving clients in both California and Texas.
Mr. Jiménez earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Law in 1996. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at the University of Texas at El Paso, graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in English and American Literature in 1993. During his time at UCLA, he participated in appellate advocacy clinics and completed a trial advocacy internship with the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office.
Mr. Jiménez concentrates his practice in immigration and nationality law, representing clients in matters such as naturalization, family and employment visas, deportation defense, and immigration appeals. His practice encompasses all stages of legal proceedings, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.
Throughout his career, Mr. Jiménez has been admitted to practice before several courts, including the United States District Court for the Central District of California, the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to founding his own firm, he worked as an associate at medium and large law firms in Los Angeles, gaining extensive experience in civil and administrative litigation as well as immigration law.
Mr. Jiménez is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, the American Immigration Lawyers Association (Southern California and Texas chapters), the El Paso Bar Association, the Mexican American Bar Association, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and the Orange County Bar Association. He is fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing him to effectively serve the diverse communities of California and Texas.
